Tree Factory
Roots, leaves and bark, oh my! Each part of a tree, from the tiniest root hair to the great trunk that supports it, plays a role in helping it to function. Leaves produce food through photosynthesis and bark protects the tree. Learn all about roots, shoots, xylem and phloem using Project Learning Tree’s “Tree Factory”. Students can explore the parts of a tree by acting them out!
